AAPO SOL

30 YEARS OLD

Written on: February 18, 2026

Today I want to discuss the secrets of life I've learned from 30 years of life in this incarnation.

I've learned tons and this is my birthday post, since I just recently turned 30. It's been a great life I've lived.

As a kid I was smart and learned quickly. That's what my identity was as well. As an adult, I used to be into traveling the world and these days I am happily more settled, being a parent and all of that good stuff.

I've been into sports, video games, I was actually a decent trampoline athlete growing up and went downhill skiing often. I got more interested in art as an adult. I started producing music in my 20s. Earlier than that I hanged out with my friends and played a ton of video games.

So we are talking some of the best secrets of life and I should come up with a few of them for this blog post. It is a daunting of a task, but let me begin anyways. I am here to smash this.

It takes a moment to feel the nostalgio for life, if you know what I mean. To go back in time into my memories. It's as if listening to a beautiful song.

To write this autobiographical post is a challenge of it's own kind. I want to write about my experiences of what I've seen and learned.

I've seen some intense stuff. One time in Portugal, I saw a guy get punched and went in there to stop the guy from his rampage. I've been threatened with knives and I've overdosed on drugs.

So yeah, that went dark quickly, as it goes, and I want to say I am now older and wiser not to get into such circumstances again, as I was discussing the knives and the drugs.

Later in life I gained an interest in poetry, after crying in front of my computer, inspired by some great artists out there - just watching their stuff made me tear up. So I became a lover of poetry and I actually always was a lover of music as well. Over 10 years ago, I started meditating and I've since then read a bunch of great books as well, as well as listening to tons of music and audiobooks.

I used to work in sales and have always been interested in how Mind works. I used to say I am interested in psychology and all of that good stuff, but these days I like to call it being interested in how Mind works. So by that I mean that powerful aspect of being alive which is Mind - which brings me to the first secret.

A Powerful Mind is a Powerful Life. That is one of the secrets of life. The better our Mind is the better we are at comprehending different tasks and if we are successful in these tasks we reap rewards. That's why I love stuff like yoga and meditation since they are a practice to deepen our understanding of our Mind.

So do your yoga, kids. Seriously, I mean it.

So I got interested in how Mind works since I was always interested in all kinds of scientific research on human "psychology" (Prefer to call it Mind now).

So one of the secrets for my 30th birthday is Mind - that is the source of power. Being smart and effective in our Mind can produce powerful results for us, and that's what we all want, right? More secrets coming up, I hope. What should the next one be? Maybe it has to do with your special abilities and gifts, or mine, or maybe both of us, who knows?

Embrace Your Special Powers. That means to accept your difference from others around you. Thi one is a challenging one to write about, but I will give it a shot. Perhaps you have your own style, and are different from others - that should be embraced and amplified. Accept your uniqueness, so others may benefit from your awesomeness.

Grace Is Key. Trust me on this one, Grace is a key element in life and should be trusted. Also, you should probably dance more often, if you know what I am saying.

Text your friends more often. This one is important and keep your social life in order as well. Ignore this, and you just might sink into doom. Tell them what you should tell them in this life. You should tell them how much you care about them, implicit or explicit. Go grab some coffee and snacks with them, and buy some cheap gifts for your friends.

Hmm, I don't know. This is one of the challenges of writing a blog post such as this, one just might run out of ideas. The worst circumstance for a writer such as myself.

Get into aesthetics. Seriously, who doesn't love beautiful stuff. I personally am a lover of aesthetics and am a fan of it in nature for example. Really like for example the palm tree in my room as I am writing this. I like to design and create my own and the top lesson I learned as an adult in my 30 now is that I like to buy cool clothes too, if you get what I am saying.

Well, this is my birthday celebration post so anything is allowed. Time for another secret.

Let people help you if necessary. People are often bored and are looking for something to do. If you need a hand at anything, just ask. They will usually be happy to help.

Reminds me of a story when a guy gave me free vodka when I was homeless.

Do you know that feeling when time seems to disappear? Live in that. Repose in awareness, and sometimes it's great to fall into a trance. Do whatever interests you, and put a lot of your time and energy into it. Then you get some cool rewards, I guess.

Like said I was homeless for a little while in Portugal and afterwards in Amsterdam. That was a funny experience - I made more money by begging for food than I've made from streaming income yet. Hahah. Was a funny realization. So many people gave me free food it was ureal. Like said I've lived a great life so I want to now share a little bit. Too bad this is only a blog post so a lot of it doesn't fit here for the sake of this post.

How could one sum up one's life in a single blog post? That is near impossible to do in practice.

I hope you enjoyed this, and it was useful to you - if so, be sure to share it with a friend.
