NIGHTFALL
Written on: March 3, 2026
Nightfall. It's becoming one of my favorite times of the day. There is something awesome about the fall
of the night. It's when the lights are going off and restfulness is coming soon. I enjoy it.
I like mornings too, but nightfall is a pleasurable time. I usually like to work lightly when the night
is coming, at least now when I am away from home. It's the time for casual work. Like creating writing,
as I've been lately focusing on.
FOCUS ON WRITING FOR ME
So I've been focusing lately on writing since it gives such an awesome reward. Writing is really rewarding
since you always get finished work that way easily. One can do writing with easeful effort and it always
rewards you for writing. For example 1000 words, that is somewhat easy to write, just takes a while and
it rewards you with that. Also I can listen to music when writing which I also enjoy. It's a nice thing.
I always like to write and afterwards read a little bit of what I wrote. I also write sometimes in my
personal diary, and those sessions are fun since you don't have to write anything to be comprehended by
others. You can write for yourself absolutely anything and there is no audience, so you can write in
anything you please. Sometimes when I write for my own eyes only, my sessions are very productive.
Or should I say that I get in a nice amount of words, since I am in no way filtering what kind of subjects
to discuss, but when one posts for others, that's when you need to be more mindful of what you're talking
about, I guess.
MINDFUL POETRY
So this time I am writing for you, my dear reader. That's always a good time. Perhaps we should discuss
something important, or just chit chat? Whatever it is. So I have one topic in mind and that is the rules
of art. What kind of rules are there in creating art such as this? Do you believe there are rules to art,
or not? For example writing a blog post such as this, which is art, let's say. So are there rules to writing
blog posts? Maybe if you want to create a hit post that will be shared, then there ought to be rules.
Sure Google likes some posts and not so much others. Maybe readers are the same?
ICY WINDS AND FIRE
Here I am. I went on a trip to Portugal and it was wild in there. In that country, people spend all winter
being outside, at least some do. They just hang around in the park like nothing happend in Portugal and
it's December. It was funny to realize as a Finn myself, since in Finland you have to be inside in December.
'Cause it's cold outside, it's like -15 in December sometimes in Finland so no going outside that much,
not for me.
ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT?
Have you noticed that there's a lot going on with some artists out there? I mean their fanbases are in
the millions. People seem to really care about art, in that it's something that's important in their lives.
Since why would otherwise people be bothered with following artists and listening and watching and reading
their stuff. Every day in the television and internet and what not, art is marketed to us. Books, music,
all kinds of stuff and it's like a real business. That to me is so funny. That art is so super popular.
So what makes art really good, it makes me ponder. What can I do to create great art? Is it like running
a 100 meter sprint - the fastest one will win? In art too? So can one actually go ahead and create something
good and expect to get rich? It would be fair if that is the case obviously. To be honest, I don't know
the answer if being a good artist makes one rich or not. But it does bring a certain kind of wealth in
your life, as does being well educated as well, right?
BEHOLD THE ART
So where's teh art, Aapo? Where is it? WTF is this? You might be asking...
I've got only one answer, and that is, that I am working on it. I want to test this theory in practice.
So if you're actually a great artist, will everyone sooner or later hear of you, and buy your book or
hear your music and you're going to be a legend for it, right? That should be what fair play is all about.
So create some beautiful art and become a legend. That is the game plan. It sounds like a fun process
to me. Well, I tend to appreciate some good artists and authors and musicians out there. So there must
be a truth hidden in that path A to path B movement which is to move from this position to being a legend
in the art industry. That sounds awesome, I wonder if it will take a lot of work or money or effort,
or what? What does it take to produce incredible work that people won't shut up about? I see others have
done it and became famous and all of that good stuff. So maybe that is my path, or maybe I should say yours,
since you're the one reading this, and I am the one writing for you, eh?
ONE LAST THING
So I need to get going soon so this one has to be finished quickly. I wish I could've stayed and chatted
with you for longer, but be sure to check up for new posts anytime you feel like it.
As always, thanks so much for being a reader of mine, I truly do appreciate it. Really cool. Thanks.
To wrap things up, we discussed that does creating great work and publishing it make you a legend in art,
and perhaps bring greater financial freedom, and is art like a 100 meter sprint, where the rules are fair?
Since in 100 meter sprint you run as fast as you run and you get rewarded based on how fast you are...
So maybe this truth is applied also in the art game - the better work you create, the greater the reward?
Whatever might the reward be, perhaps money is one of it. I bet there's also a freedom found in great work.
Like the art of playing the piano for example, it does sound good as well as the paycheck. And maybe
one can enjoy the movement of one's fingers on the keyboard too, I know I am one of those people who
enjoy the sound of my keyboard when I am writing. And also the movement of my hands and I just enjoy the
process a lot, like one might enjoy going for a walk (you don't get paid for going for a walk) or maybe
enjoying the creativity in the same way as one might enjoy eating a great meal (you don't get paid for
eating a meal). So I enjoy writing in the same way as I enjoy my favorite foods. They have an intrinsic
pleasure to them and maybe you could say that writing is intellectually stimulating and challenging
and it's like a play almost, just like a role play or a video game.
That's it people. I am finished. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for the next one. Much love.
