So to continue on this post Being In The World, Not From The World (go ahead and read that first if you haven’t.)
If you’ve ever seen a newborn baby, that’s the essence of being human.
There literally is nothing that is more precious and innocent than a newborn baby. Especially when the thing starts laughing or doing other noises.
That’s the ultimate essence of all of us. Only when we get older we usually start to get conditioned to believe all kinds of evil shit about ourselves and eachother.
It’s like our childlike awe and wonder gets kicked out of us through all kinds of negative experiences that humanity is currently going through. We truly are like fish in water in our pre-enlightened culture.
Society Is Toxic In Many Ways
Society has a lot of toxic bullshit going on, just look at Donald Trump and MAGA, or any other tyrannies going on around the world. Plenty of examples to be found.
It’s like humanity doesn’t yet know itself as this really beautiful organism that is capable of so much. Instead we’re conditioned to hate on ourselves, for example our looks or how much we earn or any other outer circumstance that is through late-stage capitalism and modern marketing and just sh*t like that. We’re taught to feel bad about ourselves and our success and there’s a lot of machismo going on around in modern culture.
So we’ve since childhood really conditioned to become these well-fitting pieces of the machine of culture and society and there’s a lot of rich people out there with tons of power in their hands who are just manipulating us to consume 24/7. Those are the people who dominate culture and their corporations and greedy agendas are what is causing a lot of suffering in the world.
That force in existence could be called The Ego.
Ego Is Selfishness
If you’ve read the Bhagavad Gita, then you must know what The Ego is. If you’ve not read it, I highly suggest that you check it out. It’s really an amazing story and myth and is an absolute legend of a book for good reason.
Hello Ego, My Old Friend
So the Ego is this dark, condensed field of energy that possesses some percent of the population.
It’s dense and selfish and is looking to gain power for itself. (Vladimir Putin).
Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump are just great examples of what The Ego looks like because they’re big celebrities and a lot of people know these guys so just a great example to use to illustrate my point here.
God created us to enjoy life and see the beauty of existence and so that we could play and have fun. But the Ego doesn’t understand, because it’s so fearful and has to prove itself constantly.
So we end up in this shitty situation of having to toughen up and “become adults” and we can no longer be child like and laugh and have fun and not worry about things because it’s like a crime to think that everything is okay.
The Power of The Ego
So the ego has this weird power onto humans that like I argue are really just an innocent bunch of consciousness that wants to be happy.
So humans really exist for one reason only and that is joy, happiness and playfulness.
But we’re stuck in this mad world with The Ego orbiting us and we have to come up with clever solutions to the problems of the world.
Inside we all have an innocent child that just wants to have fun but now we’re in this world where hostile forces exist that try to bring doom to planet Earth.
A Huge Paradox
Because now we need to fund armies to defend ourselves although no decent person wants to do anything with war.
So we’re stuck with these warmongering idiots like Putin and Trump and it really leads to some terrible outcomes for just about everyone involved and yes we do live on the same planet as these idiots.
So you’re really forced to become this monster almost.
A good example is that my son who is just an innocent boy has to one day go to serve in the military and I would’ve had to if not for health problems.
Although we’re mostly just guys and girls who want to have a good time and live peacefully and have all kinds of positive experiences and thoughts and just want to live in harmony.
But we are forced to go into war against these terrible forces of evil and that is what The Bhagavad Gita is all about.
Although we’re still that same 7 year old kid who just wants to play with his friends and have a blast and enjoy life. Nothing else.
You just want the world to be happy and good but now it’s time to go shoot some guns eh?
