My name is Aapo Sol and I go by the name Don Aapo in the music world. I've been making electronic music now since 2018, or so.
Plumas Rojas is one of those creations to be happy about. It's my work of art I am super proud of. Making music such as this is one of the reasons why I became a musician in the first place. I've been listening to it non-stop since it got finished, haha. It's one of my successes this year for sure. Not all of my tunes are this great, to be honest. Sometimes I fail and that which I envision to sound like doesn't actualize itself in the audio software I am using. So I definitely couldn't be happier with this song and how it came about - definitely a comeback for myself in my career. This release is driven by myself having been a fan of music like this for a lifetime already. I originally got Spotify very early on, a friend of mine was actually using it since it's beta release. So I've been a music fan ever since streaming became a possibility. And this tune represents that. It for sure marks a change in my sound and me becoming more serious about creating music. It's a hard field sometimes, and sometimes you can fail and like said I really think this song is special and a little bit better than the usual track I make. I think it's really fresh and an expression of my style as a musician.
My name is Don Aapo. I live in Vantaa, Finland, and am originally from Mikkeli, Finland. I am 30 years old and the next step I will take in my career is probably DJ:ing for people - I would love to play a festival or a club gig at some point. I don't have accurate analytics of how many streams I've got because of an incident with bots following and playing my music, but I would estimate that my fans have streamed my music a little under 100k times on other streaming platforms than YouTube, and in YouTube my music has perhaps 200k more streams. I estimate that I've thus streamed 300k times in total. I also finished two books and they are for sale for anyone interested. I also am going to launch an e-commerce business anytime soon, so a lot happening for me right now.
I originally became a musician by buying a set of headphones and I heard music clearly with them and I really liked them and I thought to myself, hmm, could I create this too? Could I create some awesome sounds. I did have a background in making videos already, so all it took was learning a new software to use.
