It’s a sunny day here in Finland today and this album is the perfect match for the occasion. It’s still warm, weirdly warm and sunny for an October afternoon.
Although I am sure that this album is also the perfect fit for any occasion out there. All that is needed is to relax, perhaps grab a cup of tea and just listen. Perhaps doing nothing else but just listening, although I am writing and drawing right now at the same time.
Nature Embraces Us, And We Embrace Nature
We are nature, we are the trees, and the clouds, and the waters. When you hug a tree, you’re hugging yourself.
We are human beings, human beings are a part of nature. When you’re seeing the ocean or the lake, or the river, you’re seeing yourself.
I am not the only person who Ram Dass touched in a beautiful way. He is always so chill and is like the most irresistible rogue out there.
Always talking about love, as we should, and the infinity of consciousness and the soul which loves everything.
I still remember when I first heard this album it was a summer day and it really moved me and I became very hopeful and relaxed about everything.
Such is the power of this album.
I Am Loving Awareness
The mantra is I Am Loving Awareness and it’s a really cool one to be honest. Just being as loving awareness for extended periods of time can be wonderful to keep the mind healthy.
I’m not sure why I love this album so much but I really do. It’s somehow mystical and really brings a wonderful mood for the day.
The piano parts are very smooth, and really liking the vocals.
A Powerful Experience
So listening to this album was a really powerful experience for me. I felt really grateful for my life when listening to it.
This time around I am listening to it for probably the 5th time already.
Om Namah Shivaya means I bow to Shiva, or I salute Shiva.
So I salute Shiva today as I am listening to this. We’re all Truth.
I love how Ram Dass talks about Sadhana and Satsang. Do you know what they are?
Sadhana means spiritual practice such as meditation and maybe chanting and reading scriptures and stuff like that.
Satsang is a gathering of the community in a spiritual context.
Those things aren’t really a thing in The West as they are in The East.
That’s why I have a love for Indian spirituality in particular Hinduism, Tantra and Buddhism and those things.
I am home. I hope you’re enjoying this album as much as I am. Really makes me get into the mood for creating some beautiful art for example.
Definitely know what Ram Dass is talking about about going into spiritual planes of consciousness – it’s exactly why I am listening right now to every beat of this album.
Somehow the teachings of Ram Dass, combined with the music by East Forest bring a feeling of Love that’s really beautiful. It makes me forget my worries and trust that the universe is a great place full of wonders and totally makes me fall in love with the universe, just like Ram Dass is talking about – love everyone.
So by inhabiting the soul we can love everyone. That’s a really profound teaching.
This album has such a happy energy about it, well done East Forest – truly a masterpiece worth listening to.
This album is making me compassionate towards everything right now.
Our consciousness is one, your and mine – it’s one.
You meet other souls, you meet your pod. Soul pod. That have been with you infinitely.
Souland. Death is a new perception, a new beginning. So you should identify with your soul in life.
Life is a beautiful miracle. Life truly is a profound thing to have. What could be better than existence itself?
It’s such a weird thing to think about, if there was no existence, but only nothing ness.
Is it like a Buddhist teaching that reality actually is just an infinite void, pure emptiness, in which everything manifests.
It’s a nothingness so deep that there isn’t even resistance to anything being there, and that’s how the Creation came to be, right?
This album inspires me to become more spiritual and perhaps start giving out my own spiritual teachings too.
Would be great to be a spiritual teacher to be honest. I just need to buy a turban and dress up as a spiritual Guru.
Still going strong with the listen and I need to say that it’s a pretty awesome album, definitely a go to choice to deepen one’s meditations and become aware of love and the good stuff in life.
The Guru is the captain of my ship. That’s just beautiful.
The album listen is coming to an end for me and I have to give it a rating of 5 stars.
5/5
Can’t wait to listen to more of East Forest. One can only hope that their effect on the world would be similar as that of Ram Dass.
He really made a profound impact on humanity through his spiritual venture and talks of his Guru and his jokes and everything.
Remember to record yourself speaking, it’s really important and something that I will put a new focus into.
Would be fun to give talks and record myself speaking so stay tuned for that.
That would be the album this time. Thanks a lot for checking it out with me.
