The Truth About Yogic Liberation

He who is the Fire [Kundalini],
and he who is in the Heart [Spiritual Heart],
and he who is in the Sun [Consciousness],
they are one and the same.

– Maitrayaniya Upanishad

Feeling Poetic

So whenever I think of yoga it reminds me of these yogis who lived incredible and amazing lives. To me, that’s what yoga is all about.

It’s all about living life with the gas pedal pushed down.

So what is yogic liberation? I think it means something that we achieve through our yogic efforts and it means that we are free as sentient beings.

I’m just trying to say something about yoga that is absolutely wonderful.

Living A Profound Life

It basically comes down to this. Living a profound life as a yogi is something that is worth pursuing. I definitely feel like this is a good point.

So yeah. Basically to live free is to live like a yogi, I think.

Remembering The Sacred

So it’s a good thing to remember the sacredness of our life. Other good activities can be to climb trees and meditate in the sunshine. Connecting with nature is a great thing to do and it is usually very relaxing and fun to do.

I think there’s a whole genre of art out there that’s like yogic art and it has it’s root in Tantra. Many great yogis were also artists, creators, writers, musicians and such.

I did some Googling and it’s actually called Thangka the genre of art which I am talking about and it’s all about these works of art that are used for Buddhist teachings.

So apparently the teaching of painting these Thangkas comes from a master-student relationship which is cool and I really understand why. They are like a tradition in Tibetan culture if I am correct and I really would love to own some of these works later.

I am lately looking into creating visual art like digital prints but the learning curve is a long one in creating cool visual art.

So yeah, got to stay patient as an artist that is looking to create some cool works. Right now my skills aren’t definitely there yet, so I must develop them further.

That for me is a liberation of it’s own kind. It’s really all about the journey and the learning process.

Love Learning

I identify as someone that loves to learn so nothing wrong with improving my drawing skills more in the future, actually looking forward to some sessions. I think drawing is super relaxing in contrast to music making, I can listen to other artists while making drawings so that is super cool too.

So yeah. Keep creating!!
